Claim 1
For my first root cause is that it affects our environment because the way these products aren’t actually being thrown out properly, which then causes global warming. As I’ve stated before, our foot carbon throughout this shoe manufacturing is very high. Our environment is already being torn up apart. It literally goes from the way the shoe is made to how it’s transported to place to place. The way the shoe is being transported to place to place is what causes the foot carbon to increase. We already have that issue with everyone in this world having a high footprint and now our shoes are making up these footprints higher. That is why we should always buy friendly product shoes and also recycle them properly. “The shoe manufacturing process is a chemical-intensive process. Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, a material commonly found in the midsole of running shoes, can last for as long as 1,000 years in a landfill. When considering the sheer volume of shoe waste, it’s environmentally irresponsible to toss shoes in a landfill where they’ll impact the planet for centuries.” Meaning that it takes long for a shoe to actually being able to be thrown out without the shoe impacting the environment.
