Reflection
1) How and why did you choose your topic?
I at first wasn’t so sure on what to write about, but then I started to think about what I like. So then I realized that I do tend to buy a lot of shoes, so I wanted to look into it to see if there was actually any harm going around shoe manufacturing. I already had an idea of shoe manufacturing being a big deal because I mean it is a factory and factories only harm the environment as well as our health.
2) What were the total hours spent working on your project? Discuss your experiences as you worked on it.
While being so unsure about what to talk about for my fire project I had several other things going on. For example, baseball, which took most of my time. Going to baseball practice and then trying to get my homework done was overwhelming.
3) What advice would you give to a student who will be completing their Capstone Project next year?
The advice I would give to students next year doing the Capstone or Fire Project, is to choose a topic you feel passionate about. By doing so, you will have fun doing research and will actually learn more information about a topic you enjoy. They should do their project on time and actually do each part when they’re assigned because then you’ll end up so stressed out if you do it last minute.
